JENNY DIXON RESERVE

Public BBQ

Jenny Dixon Reserve commands a clifftop position above Norah Head, with sweeping ocean views and glimpses of the nearby lighthouse. The location excels for family gatherings, featuring well-maintained barbecue facilities and a children's playground set against Pacific breezes. A recently renovated staircase descends through coastal vegetation to a secluded beach below. Fair warning: the climb back up requires commitment, and the beach runs choppy, better suited to paddling in shallows than serious swimming. Above ground, the reserve attracts morning walkers and contemplative types who appreciate the peaceful atmosphere. The combination of amenities, vistas, and coastal access makes it particularly appealing for leisurely barbecues where the entertainment comes courtesy of the seascape. Suitable toilets complete the arrangements.
